Movie Review

One of my favorite movies is Top Gun. This movie is about a school for the top 1% of all fighter pilots in the United States Navy. The main character, Lt. Pete Mitchel or Maverick, has amazing talent in fighter piloting and is very confident. However he is a very large devil may care. He is a little to confident and breaks the rules a lot. Throughout the movie you see how Maverick makes his way through Top Gun and tries to score the highest in his class and become the one of the best fighter pilots in the world.

My Experience with Music 

An experience I have with performing music is my trumpet. I started playing 4 years ago when I was in 5th grade. Of course when I first started I was not very good, but I quickly learned all the notes and how to play. Over the years I practiced and played in concerts and became better and better. I still play trumpet and plan to keep playing throughout high school and maybe even my adult years. 

Special Christmas Gift

       A special gift that I have got in the past is my PS4. The reason why this gift is so special to me is because this is probably my favorite item in my house. I use it almost everyday and play my favorite video games on it. I will never forget when Christmas finally came after asking for a PS4 for almost a year. I looked under my tree and saw a gift about the right size and was thinking "please by a PS4, please be a PS4..." and of course when I opened it I was overjoyed.

My Name

My name is Matthew. The name Matthew comes from the Greek form of the Hebrew name "Mattityahu", meaning "gift of Yahweh".  The name was first given to Matthew(AKA Levi), one of the twelve apostles . He was a tax collector and the author of the New testament and considered a saint. In terms of popularity, the name Matthew is common mostly in Europe and in the United States. For example, Matthew is ranked number 7 for most common names in England and in Ireland. There also many forms the name Matthew takes in different languages. For example, Mateo is Matthew in Spanish.

What I would do if I worked at school

If I had to work at school, I would would be a social studies teacher. The reason why I would become a social studies teacher is because I REALLY like history, (especially American conflicts) it has and is now my strongest subject. Another reason why I would teach history is because I think it is really important to learn about history. The reason I think this is because history is what makes up the modern world, everything that happens today is because of something that happened through history. 

Gratitude List

Im sitting on my couch playing video games, but as the game takes forever to load, but as I'm sitting there bored, I think about what I have to be grateful for.

1. Family, for they are always there, ready to help me with anything.

2. Friends, for they are the ones I spend time and have fun with.

3. My house, there I can feel comfortable, and be myself.

4. The United States, for it gives us an amazing thing called liberty.

5. Our Armed Forces, for they are the ones who protect and preserve our freedom.

6. Aviation, for it inspires me to become a pilot one day.

7. Video games, because if I ever have nothing to do, it will always keep me busy.

8. My health, without it I would not be able to do a lot of things.

9. Baseball, when I play it, I can express my talent.

10. My education, for it will allow me to become someone one day.

Comfort Food

A comfort food I have is Mac and cheese. There are lots of other foods I enjoy, but this one tops all of them by a lot. Ever since I was little I have always enjoyed mac and cheese (this was one of the first foods I started to enjoy). Whenever I eat it, I can't get over that gooey and cheese sensation. There have been times where I have been in a bad mood, but after eating the mac and cheese, I felt fine.
